11/10/12 - Nice words from Wally (Gotye)
Wally had some nice things to say about my first solo release with Candyrat Records in an interview with Live Music Guide:
LMG: There are so many covers of that song. Is there any one particular cover that stands out to you that has been your favorite?
W: There are a few. There's a guitarist Mike Dawes that's featured in the middle of the mash-up that I did. He did a solo acoustic guitar version of the song, and I think it's a really beautiful piece of music. It's wonderfully arranged. It's just a fantastic piece of music. I also like the instrumental interpretation because it gives a different perspective on the musical arrangement. It's not about how somebody's voice transmits the story of the relationship.
